I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). I will join Nanyang Technological University in Fall 2026.
My research agenda focuses on the real economic effects of accounting. I seek to conduct theory-based empirical research and link accounting issues to the labor market, product market, and international trade. I am also interested in voluntary disclosure. 

Full Time Research Assistant Hiring:
I’d like to hire full time RAs with some research experience and high self-motivation to help me with my research projects. This RA position will primarily involve advanced responsibilities, with limited basic tasks such as manual data collection and matching. The RA will work intensively on one or two projects throughout the employment period and mainly be responsible for conducting comprehensive data analyses and developing research tests for the projects.
Requirements: 1) Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Stata, SAS, Python, or similar software) to conduct data analysis; 2) Having experience in textual analysis or machine learning is a plus; 3) Education: senior undergrads or MA students who have extensive research experience and plan to apply for PhD program or current PhD students.
